For those of you who haven’t been following me very long, I like to share things I come across that give all of us something to think about and can help to make our lives easier.
Anything that helps us gain perspective and keep the little things from bugging us too much is always helpful, and the Wall Street Journal recently published a story about the ever-revolving job market that I wanted to plug.
We like to blow things out of proportion and make “a mountain out of a mole hill” as my mom would say, when really if we just took a step back to cool off and look at the big picture, we’d see how meaningless these little things really are.
With the economy in the toilet many people are stuck in jobs they hate, which can be incredibly frustrating. By remembering that such situations aren’t forever and that change could be just around the corner, you create a much healthier perspective and optimistic outlook.
And here’s my segue… this can apply to just about anything in life you’re stuck doing!
Cheers,
Steve
