hi steve, im 21 years old and for the past 2 years i have been suffering so terribly from what i think are panic attacks. i have somehow recently convinced myself to think going far from my home will trigger an attacks i avoid traveling, sadly my dad lives 4 hours away. i just want to be normal again, i cry everyday and wish i could be how i was. when i watched this video i was shocked that you panicked over every single thing i do, elevators, bridges, traffic etc. i will use this technique immediately as i get these attacks atleast 5 times a day. im really scared, and if u have advice for me i could really use it.

Rebecca, everything you describe is typical of panic attacks and extreme anxiety. I can't give you any specific medical advice but I can say that I myself have felt many of the same symptoms you describe when I was suffering from anxiety. The good news is that all of these scary feelings and sensations disappeared when I got past my anxiety. Everything that worked for me I've put into this website and my book, I'm sure it can help you too.
Cheers,
Steve

Hi Steve,

I have suffered from anxiety for the past 12 years and I have looked far and wide for a book like this. Make some changes in place and time and it felt you were writing my the story based on my life and experience with anxiety. I have been to many therapist over the years, and nobody was able to capture the true essence of what people with anxiety feel. Your book has been a tremendous help and I wanted to personally thank you for the work you have done. I am getting ready to begin a graduate progam to get my degree in psychology and you can be sure I will recommend your book to all.

God bless my friend,
