
"No lunch at your desk!".
Too much to do, and not enough time? Most workplaces these days are a frantic collection of stressed out employees teetering on the edge of a nervous breakdown. Many of us have so much work to do that we forget to take care of ourselves, especially when it comes to taking breaks. So, let me say it loud and clear...
No eating lunch at your desk!
Your mind and body need a break from the stress of your job. A change of scenery, fresh air, and conversation with others helps you forget about work and find some relaxation in the middle of the day.
When you return to work after such a break, you will feel mentally refreshed and more relaxed. Because you feel better, you will be able to focus and be more efficient in your work than if you hadn't taken a break and ate lunch at your desk instead.
So get out of the office and take a proper lunch break! You may be surprised how much better you feel, and how much more work you get done.
